  32.     │                 │ skirmishes and host and play multiplayer games   │
  33.     │                 │ without the CD by just installing the multiplayer│
  34.     │                 │ spawn version of TA (127 Mb)                     │

  36.     │                 │ Without the crack you can only join multiplayer  │
  37.     │                 │ games and you can't play skirmishes (unless you  │
  38.     │                 │ have the CD in).                                 │
  39.     │                 │                                                  │
  40.     │                 │ But before all this you have to GET total        │
  41.     │                 │ annihilation on CD. (No \/\/arez)                │
  42.     │                 │                                                  │
  43.     │                 │ The easy way is to get a friend to install the   │
  44.     │                 │ multiplayer spawn version of TA from his bought  │
  45.     │                 │ CD. That's legal! If you do that skip the next   │
  46.     │                 │ paragraph..                                      │
  47.     │                 │                                                  │
  48.     │                 │ If you don't have a friend with TA (or if you    │
  49.     │                 │ don't have friends 8)) you can try another method│
  50.     │                 │ that I am confident will work (but I havn't      │
  51.     │                 │ tested it so use at your own risk). What you do  │
  52.     │                 │ is go into your local store and BUY TA, take it  │
  53.     │                 │ home and install the multiplayer spawn version.  │
  54.     │                 │ Then go back to the store (within 1 hr) and say  │
  55.     │                 │ it didn't run! You get your money back and a free│
  56.     │                 │ version of TA! (Minus the crap campaigns).       │
  57.     │                 │                                                  │
  58.     │                 │ Now install the -2.0 Beta 1- patch from a TA site│ 
  59.     │                 │ (http://www.annihilated.com or something).       │
  60.     │                 │                                                  │
  61.     │                 │ Then run my patch and run TA like normal, you    │
  62.     │                 │ will notice that you can play the skirmishes and │
  63.     │                 │ even host multiplayer games without the CD!      │
  64.     │                 │                                                  │
  65.     │                 │ Look out for new versions of total annihilation  │
  66.     │                 │ patches and new crackz for them from fACTOR '98  │
  67.     │                 │ and DanThaMan!                                   │
